As a child growing up in the Assyrian villages near Mesopotamia, Atoria used to watch her mother and grandmother bake flatbread using their family recipe and a rustic hearth oven.

Unable to find similar bread in America, Atoria started making her own and it wasn’t long before a dream took shape: to bake and share her family recipe for the authentic bread of her youth with people in her new home country. And Atoria’s Family Bakery was born. Atoria and her children worked hard to make this dream a reality, and thirty years later, it’s the next generation—Atoria’s grandchildren—who are working to bring her recipes to a broader audience. This is still the bread of Atoria’s home and her youth, the bread of family and of celebrations and of happy memories.

The BelGioioso story began over a century ago when the great grandfather of BelGioioso President, Errico Auricchio, founded a cheese company based on a philosophy of excellence. When Errico came to America, he scoured the United States in search of the highest quality milk to begin his goal of making exceptional specialty cheeses. It was in Wisconsin, “America’s Dairyland”, that he found the dedicated farmers and abundant green pastures and corn fields that produce superior milk. Wisconsin milk was and still is simply unbeatable. In addition to his immediate family, Errico also brought with him two master cheesemakers, Mauro and Gianni. To these gentlemen, making cheese isn’t a job, it’s a calling. Together, Errico, Mauro & Gianni began by making cheeses familiar to American consumers such as Provolone, Parmesan and Romano.

The California Table Grape Commission represents all table grape farmers in California and works on their behalf to expand markets for fresh grapes through promotion, education, and research. California produces 99% of the commercially grown table grapes in the U.S., making them America’s local eating grape, available June – January. Fresh grapes work across the menu as a standalone healthy side or a signature ingredient. Grapes add color, crunch, and a balance of acid-sweet that enhance the eating experience in salads, sides, entrees, and appetizers. The commission works with chefs to find the right fit for California grapes on their unique menus.
